Kochi /Thekkady/Vagamon
This exciting 4-day package gives you an opportunity to visit the most beautiful places in Kerala. The trip starts with your arrival at Kochi. You will be taken to Thattekkad which is close to the Tamilnadu border. This place is famous for the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. The green and semi-green forests and savannas are the peculiarities of this place. You can enjoy boating and get the fragrance of this place by visiting the spice plantations. Next destination is Vagamon. Vagamon is one of the hill stations in Kerala that is home to herds of elephants, tigers, Nilgiri langurs, and other species. The tea plantations and Pine Valleys are major tourist attractions of this place. You will be driven back on the fourth day to Kochi.
Day 1- Kochi to Thekkady
Arrival at Kochi Internaional Airport /Railway station drive to Thekkady , On arrival at check- in to hotel .The Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick ever green forest. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Interesting activities -Boating .Spice plantation visit etc
Day 2- Thekkady
After breakfast enjoy the activities at Thekkady Interesting activities: Elephant ride,Bamboo rafting, Boating , Nature walk, Border hiking,Jungle patrol etc. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3- Thekkady -Vagamon
After breakfast drive to Vagamon on arrival check-in at the hotel,Vagamon has an overtone of green. With a never-ending line of lush green hills, breathtaking ravines and meandering rivulets. A perfect tourist place situated 1200 meters above the sea level spot surrounded by the greenery of tea gardens , Fresh cool air, murmuring Pine forest ,small waterfalls , attractive meadows inviting you to vagamon.Reaching Vagamon itself is an extraordinary experience.Overnight at Vagamon
Day 4- Departure
After breakfast drive to Kochi drop at Kochi International Airport /Railway station for your onward journey.
